Official Announcement: BJRS Achieves Qualis A3 Classification (2021–2024 Evaluation Period)

The Brazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences (BJRS) is pleased to announce that it has achieved an A3 classification in the CAPES Qualis Journals system, corresponding to the 2021–2024 evaluation period.

This result marks a significant advancement compared to the previous period (2017–2020), when the journal was classified as B1, reflecting consistent improvements in editorial quality, scientific rigor, and the strengthening of peer-review and editorial governance processes.

The new A3 classification reinforces BJRS’s commitment to scientific excellence, publication integrity, and the broad dissemination of knowledge across the fields covered by the journal, particularly in radiation sciences and related technologies.
