  The III Brazilian Congress of Metrology of Ionizing Radiation is an accomplishment of the Institute of Radioprotection and Dosimetry (IRD) in partnership with SBM and INMETRO. It will happen between the 21 and 23 of November of 2016 in the IRD, Rio de Janeiro. The Congress intends to establish a forum for discussion among professionals and institutions in the country and abroad.

  The Brazilian Radiation Protection Society (SBPR), with the support of the Latin American and the Caribbean Federation of Radioprotection (FRALC) and theInternational Radiation Protection Association (IRPA), international organizations to which the SPBR is affiliated, will hold in Rio de Janeiro the IX Latin American IRPA Regional Congress on Radiation Protection and Safety, together with the V Iberian and Latin American Congress of Radiological Societies and the III Brazilian Congress of Radiation Protection, from April 14 to 19, 2013
